Biography

Victor Ashu Agbor is the founding partner of Ashukem & Co Law firm and advises clients in the energy and utilities sector on commercial and civil law issues. He provides legal consulting in the areas of loan assignment, project finance, capital markets, corporate law, oil and gas, mining law,renewable and energy innovation technology.

He supports renewable energy projects in Cameroon and abroad and takes on the legal project management for clients. Victor has special expertise in drafting procurement and supply agreements as well as EPC and operation and maintenance contracts in the renewable energy sector. His clients include investors, banking institutions component manufacturers, and EPC providers.

In addition to his professional specialisation, Victor has extensive experience in cross border work. As an experienced professional he combines his position as the firm’s managing partner with his business acumen to provide a seamless cost effective legal service as he oversees all legal issues assigned to the firm.

Victor has acted for many institutional and corporate clients under various capacities.

He created Ashukem & Co in 2004 and since then Victor has excelled in his role as a diligent and savy legal practitioner.

Victor enjoys driving, reading, traveling, playing golf and is a collector of classic cars.
